About the Tour

Step into the shadows of Fredericksburg’s past on a 75-minute walking ghost tour through the city’s historic downtown. Your evening begins at Tales & Tails, where you can arrive early to purchase a drink or browse for a spooky book before heading into the night. Along the way, you’ll hear chilling stories rooted in eyewitness accounts, historic records, and generations of local lore—from colonial-era spirits to echoes of the Civil War. A highlight of the evening is exclusive access to Fredericksburg’s historic Masonic Cemetery, normally closed to the public. Photography is welcome. Past guests have shared images of strange mists, glowing orbs, and figures they couldn’t quite explain.
